More to Check Out!
I'm really glad you've visited our website! If you want to keep learning about autism, or make some friends, there are actually some more fun things you can check out. Here are other things you can do!
Books
Reading is one of my very favorite ways to learn about autism! Here are some of my favorite autism books for kids. Some of them, like "Autism Is...?" are really easy to read and are mostly pictures. Other books, like Different Like Me, have longer stories on them (Different Like Me, by the way, is my favorite one of these books). I didn't write these books, and I don't get money for telling you about them, I'm just telling you because I think they're great! If you're interested in getting one of these, tell your parents and they can click on the pictures to be taken to a website where you can buy the book. Or you can look up the titles and see if your local public library has them that you can borrow!
Welcome to the Autistic Community!
If you're looking for more free ways to learn about autism, the Autistic Self Advocacy Network and the Autism NOW Center put out a really great free handbook you can read. Here it is! The handbook starts talking about autism on page six.
